What is Skilled4Success?
Skilled4Success is a youth employment program for ages 18-30 that involves a series of interactive sessions, providing tools and guidance to support young people, including those facing employment barriers, to be successful in the world of work.
Program Highlights
- Duration: 10 weeks of transformative learning and working.
- Structure: Begins with 2 weeks of virtual training, followed by 8 weeks of hands-on employment across various BGC departments.

- Completion Bonuses: Receive a $159 bonus after finishing training hours and a $159 bonus upon program completion.
- Practical Experience: Enjoy 8-weeks of paid work experience, gaining valuable skills in a real-world setting.
Location and Areas of Work
Work and training take place at BGC Olds and Area, with positions available in daycare, summer programs, and youth programs.

Monday-Friday Hours will vary depending on placement
All participants will be required to complete a Child Intervention Check as well as a Vulnerable Sector Criminial Record Check
